Katja & Jonathan – Hanse House.
The venue for Katja & Jonathan’s Wedding was another new venue for me – Hanse House in Kings Lynn. We met up with Katja & Jonathan at a local hotel to chat about their expectations and as Katja had seen some of my previous films, the pressure was on. I need not worry, the day flowed beautifully.
Arriving early to set the scene with shots of the venue, I was met by Toastmaster Nigel Wilkins who kindly bought me a latte and we chatted about how the day would unfold. Jonathan greeted guests in the bar over a beer, and we all then headed upstairs awaiting Katja’s entrance.
As Katja walked down the aisle with her children, Jonathan wobbled a little and swallowed with emotion… what a beautiful moment! We all had more than a few tears when the official asked Katja’s children if they were happy for mummy to marry Jonathan!… and a big “yes” was their answer.
Photos followed taken by Richard Jarmy with me capturing the moments before and after each photo to see the reactions as Katja smiled at all those having their photos taken, it was so moving watching the couple taking in all these precious moments.
Speeches followed with Katja taking centre stage with some funny self mocking of her being so organised, then Jonathan’s heartwarming speech in praise of his new wife and her children. And a few funnies from the best man bought the speeches to a close.
Cake cutting and first dance followed, more tears here as the whole family shared the second half of the first dance – Katja, Jonathan, the two children and “bump” as was… such lovely moments, an honour to be asked to capture. A fab day!
I would like to thank Katja & Jonathan for choosing me to capture their Wedding day.
Katja & Jonathan’s film lasts 52 minutes made up of the following chapters: Arrivals / Ceremony / Drinks Reception / Speeches / Cake Cutting / First Dance / Dancing and the Highlights Montage.
“Thank you so much for our beautiful wedding video. We watched it with the children this weekend and you really captured the day and the celebration. We are so pleased.”
