A warm and sunny late September Saturday saw me heading to Norfolk Mead to capture the Wedding of Ana Maria & David. Having met up with these two lovebirds for a pre wedding chat I was immediately taken in by David’s charm and Ana’s kindness and praise for my work she has seen, no pressure then!
Arriving at the hotel I found Ana’s Wedding Party drinking coffee and preparations were in full swing…. hair, make up and baby feeding aplenty. Everyone was smiling, and laughing – a very pleasant atmosphere indeed. After a much needed coffee I set about my work, well I say work, it doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do.
David made his grand entrance in a vintage Jaguar, a thing of beauty that car! And so the ceremony began…. Ana, her dad and the Bridesmaids made the long walk down Norfolk Mead’s path in full view of David and Wedding guests. As Ana made her way down the aisle, I had tears in my eyes and spying David’s tears too I hastily composed myself.
The ceremony was full of emotion and much humour, one of the readings being The Beatles “ When I’m Sixty Four” – a touch of class I thought. With the ceremony over it was time for drinks, canapés and photos taken by Simon Watson. Speeches followed, cake cutting, first dance and partying…
I would like to thank Ana Maria & David for choosing us to capture their Wedding day.
Ana & David’s Film lasts 92 minutes made up of the following chapters: Getting Ready / Ceremony / Drinks Reception / Speeches / Cake Cutting / First Dance / Dancing and the Highlights Montage.
